Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal. During each appointment, individual hairs are treated as they appear in their active growth cycle. Because hair grows in different phases, multiple treatments are required over time to achieve permanent results. Session length will vary depending on the treatment area, hair density, and progress of previous treatments. Please arrive with visible hair growth (approximately 3–5 days of growth) so the hair can be properly treated. Avoid waxing, tweezing, or threading between appointments, as these methods remove the hair from the follicle and interfere with treatment progress. Consistency with scheduled treatments is recommended to achieve optimal permanent hair reduction.
